In his current role at Penrose-St. Francis Health Services, Larry Seidl is responsible for the strategic and operational integration of the mission into the organization and its partnerships.  He advances the heritage, values and healing ministry in order that it permeates the culture and leadership team of the organization.

His previous positions include Executive Director, National Association of Catholic Chaplains; Vice President of Mission and Ministry, Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth Health System; Senior Associate of Mission Services, Catholic Health Association of the U.S.; Chaplain, Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital; and Faculty at St. Louis University, Concordia University.

Among his global awards and recognitions are the Excellence in Service Award from the Veterans Administration Health Services, Modern Healthcare’s 2004 Spirit of Excellence Award for Community Initiatives and the International Spirit at Work Award.  Larry was selected to serve on President Carter’s Interfaith Health Program through the Carter Center in the 1990’s.  Larry participates with the White House Office of Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships.

Larry holds a Masters Degree in Health Care Administration from St. Louis University/Webster University, a Masters Degree in Human Service Counseling from Webster University, and a Bachelors of Science Degree in Political Science from St. Benedict's College.
