Debra Kellar (Debbie) was appointed Vice-President of Finance in 2011. She also served Denver Seminary previously as Associate Vice-President of Finance from 2006 to 2011 and Director of Finance from 2000 to 2006.
Ms. Kellar earned an MBA from the University of Kansas with emphasis in process reengineering and total quality management in 1996 and a BA in accounting from New Mexico State University in 1990. She is also a Certified Public Accountant. Before coming to the Seminary, Debbie cultivated years of business experience in non-profits, corporations and in public accounting. Debbie enjoys supporting students as they learn, grow, and thrive during their time at Denver Seminary.
Ms. Kellar serves on the board of directors of the Association of Business Administrators of Christian Colleges (ABACC). She is a member of the National Association of Business Officers (NACUBO), the Colorado Society of CPA’s, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the College and University Personnel and HR Assn. (CUPA-HR) and the South Metro Chamber of Commerce.
Debbie is married to Charles Scott Kellar and has two sons, one daughter-in-law and one grandson. She enjoys singing in church choir, hiking and playing with her three dogs, golf, skiing, landscaping and home improvement projects.
