Marshall Dunbar serves as the Vice President of Spiritual Life and Interim Vice President of Programs for Christian Community Action, one of the largest private nonprofits in North Texas that annually ministers to nearly 10,000 individuals in need by providing comprehensive services that bring hope and change lives since 1973.
Prior to transitioning into the nonprofit sector, Marshall held various leadership positions in public service, including government, law enforcement and military service as a First Lieutenant. He has successfully transferred those experiences into church and para-church settings where he has served in several executive and pastoral leadership roles from Chaplain to Assistant Pastor.
Marshall is a Licensed Minister with the Evangelical Free Church of America and a Board Certified Clinical Chaplain and Pastoral Counselor through the College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy.
Marshall holds a B.S. in Ministry and Leadership from Dallas Christian College and a M.Div. in Chaplaincy from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. He is currently working toward his Doctor of Ministry degree in Christian Leadership and Spiritual Formation at Dallas Theological Seminary.
Marshall currently resides in North Texas with his wife, Melinda and their daughter, Elle-Simone.
